Of Generous Spirit

Standing there, looking at the upside down name, Gibbs knew he had drunk too much.  But it was finished now:  the Kelly.

His vision blurred.  From bourbon?

“She is beautiful, Jethro, your homage to our daughter.”

Shannon was there, in front of him, yet he could see the black letters through her.

“Your tribute is complete.  Now you must move on.”

“Move on?” he mumbled.  “More bourbon?”

“Love him, Jethro, as you know you need to love him.”

“Him?”

“Tony.  He is waiting.  Complete him.”

She smiled then faded away.

She had always had – and been - a generous spirit.

Oh... this is sweet. I think if Shannon had had the opportunity that is probably what she would have told Gibbs. She might even have made a rule about it ;)

And here I was just thinking it had been way to long since the last time I saw anything from you, missed waking up to new stuff from you :P

Heh, heh ... yeah, she might have made a rule!

Sorry about forgetting to write new stuff ... it kinda slipped away for a bit. But, I think I have my new form of life in control now (weight loss life ... it's actually fun! I will be FORCED to go shopping soon! Or arrested for indecent exposure because things just don't work any more.) so I should be able to get back into writing. And it's been busy at work ... (yes, I do a lot of writing when I shouldn't be writing, when I should be accounting. Bad me. ;) But sneaky too...)

Weight loss actually isn't that bad. I've been forcing my self to take it seriously since new years, and it's nice that it's actually paying off :)

Hmm writing while at work? No never done that. Writing in class? Oh yeah, there is little inspiration better than boring teachers ;) Of course I shouldn't but I end up doing it anyway :P
